Find fishing and fishing places in Dalarna

Pretty much everyone today lnows how a forum works because most of us use Facebook and also maybe are a member at other similar forum websites. Then you know how much help a forum like this is when it comes to getting some help with fishing, and it can be about things like finding fishing, getting tips on baits and gear, finding out where to buy fishing licenses, shopping for more stuff for fishing, parking the caravan etcetera. Just about everything you could possibly need to know. That’s what this site is for. In many ways for those of us who live and already fish here in Dalarna, but also for those who want to come here and fish and do not have such a good track of fishing in Dalarna.

I know that sharing favourite places and spots is not something we fishermen do alot. At least not to just about anyone. And that’s not the idea. I mean, anyone who wants to share specific spots are welcome to do so. But more important is to share general information about the fishery area you fish in. You can refer to the different waters of the fishery area and what fish there are, you can also refer to the area’s website if one exists, and more.

This summer’s planned fishing competition

It is on this site that the planned “fishing competition” Dala-Abborren will take place this summer. How it will be set up is not yet clear, but if you stay informed here on the site you can read about it when more information comes.

Dalarna’s fishing conservation areas in groups with their own forum

Right now I’m creating a lot of groups. First of all, it is groups for all of Dalarna’s fishing conservation (fishery) areas that is listed. It is then intended that members of fishing conservation areas will have access to the administration of the group of the area. This way they can manage their group all by themselves and post news and other info about the area they want to share. Each group has brief information about the area and links that are available about theire own sites, such as website, iFishing, and more. The group itself works as a kind of bulletin board where it is possible to post directly to the group, and the group will also have its own forum where threads can be started with discussions.

In the next step, there will be more general groups about fishing and things that matter to us fishermen, and there may be groups ranging from baits to fishing trips. It is then quite a lot up to members what groups they want to create about fishing here in Dalarna.

Write your own articles

I know that there are a lot of people who find it fun to share their fishing in words and pictures, and I also know that a lot of people are good at just that. Therefore, here at Fishing in Dalarna there is a page with a so-called “editor” for those who wants to write articles, and it can be done without any hassle. The “editor” can be found in members profile and in some other places on the site The page, or button, is called “write post” and a tap on it will take you to the page where you write the article. It is very easy to understand right from the start and when you have tested it for a while, you have full control. I promise. And for those who want to know more, I will write an article about how all the functions works.
